Activision has announced that the first DLC for its hit hack ‘n’ slash X-Men Origins: Wolverine is now available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The Weapon X Arena will cost 800 Microsoft points on Xbox LIVE Marketplace – the PSN price is to be confirmed.
The Weapon X arena includes four combat simulators. The Custom Combat Arena lets players spawn any combination of small and large enemies to create combinations not found in the standard game. Ladder Challenge presents gamers with a preconfigured challenge, with enemies first coming at you in small numbers, but soon getting more tricky. Environmental Simulator includes all the environmental weapons in the game and a bonus room features enemies with heightened reaction effects.
