Will Rebirth Island Come to Warzone 1?

The original Warzone, or Warzone Caldera as it is now known, has had a few changes recently since the much anticipated release of Warzone 2.0. After going down temporarily, as Activision said, Call of Duty Warzone 1 returned on the 28th of November

One of the big things noticeably missing from Warzone 1 was the Fortune’s Keep map, in fact since its return there is now only one playable map in Warzone 1.0 and that’s Caldera.

Fortune’s Keep was introduced as a replacement for Rebirth Island earlier in the year, so it begs the question: could we see the return of Rebirth Island, or even Verdansk in Warzone 1? 

Is Rebirth Island in Warzone Caldera? 

No, as it stands the original Warzone only has one map and it looks as though it may stay that way. According to Activision there are currently no plans to add any more maps to Warzone 1.0, despite how popular the smaller, faster paced and more intimate maps were.

This may be a push to try and get more people to adopt the Warzone 2.0, as they potentially wind down their attention on the original. Yet, this could be seen as a missed opportunity with Warzone 2.0 also lacking a smaller map.
