Through the aid of this angel, George is given a glimpse of what life would be like if he had never existed. Devoid of the countless good deeds that he did for many around him.
With the prayers of his friends and family reaching him, the guardian angel looks to deliver George back into the hands of his loved ones just in time for Christmas.

A Lesson Fit For A Guardian Angel
While there are many numerous qualities that I can highlight that make this movie exceptional. One that leaped out at me immediately is the core theme and how expertly handled it was throughout the film.
Mental health is a battle that so many of us continue to fight in silence. This film debuted in 1946 but its message can resonate with so many individuals today.
The plot delicately handles a tragic subject that could easily make viewers uncomfortable. While delivering an insightful perspective that so many need to hear more frequently. Your life matters, and it has value.
Allowing the main character to see the impact his absence would have on the world around him. Gives a unique third-person viewpoint on the value of his own life. It’s simple but effective, and I love it as an advocate of mental health.
