Nvidia’s RTX 40 series look set to launch in the latter stages of this year, although we doubt all the SKUs will be available to buy at launch.

To prepare ourselves for what is likely to be a very popular launch, we are going to be listing the common where to buy retailers for Nvidia RTX 40 in the US, Canada, UK, and Europe.

Nvidia’s RTX 40 series GPUs are set to have the most demand from a graphics card launch to date and while it is a little early to start finding a retailer that stocks one, we show you the best spots to bookmark.

The RTX 40 series will launch on October 12th this year, however, we believe this will only be the RTX 4090.

A quick glance at the Nvidia 40 series SKUs

As mentioned, we may only see the RTX 4090 to begin with, however, the main GPUs we can expect from this launch are:

The RTX 4090 will retail for $1,599. Nvidia’s flagship GPU features 16,384 CUDA cores, 24 GB GDDR6X memory, a 384-bit memory bus, a memory speed of 21 Gbps, and a TDP of 450W.

The RTX 4080 will be available in 16GB and 12GB versions with prices starting at $899. What is set to be a popular SKU features 10,240 and 7,680 CUDA cores, 16 GB/12GB GDDR6X memory, a 256/192-bit memory bus, and a TDP of 320W/285W.

The RTX 4070 could have an estimated MSRP of around $600. The more affordable Nvidia SKU is rumored to feature 9,728 CUDA cores, 16 GB GDDR6X memory, a 160-bit memory bus, a memory speed of 18 Gbps, and a TDP of 300W.

Is there RTX 40-series stock available?

With the launch of the RTX 4090 on the 12th October, we’ve seen familiar scenes of stock levels emptying before we can even put our hands in the cookie jar.

When will the RTX 4090 be back in stock?

We can’t make any promises regarding the upcoming stock of the RTX 4090, however we can tell you that as soon as we get any information regarding new 4090 stock we’re going to be posting it here as soon as it’s available.

What time can you buy the RTX 4090?

The RTX 4090 release time is set for 2PM BST / 3PM CEST / 6:30PM IST / 9AM EDT / 8AM CDT / 6AM PDT.

We have yet to receive confirmation when we’ll be able to purchase the rest of the RTX 40-series GPUs as they haven’t officially been announced yet. We know that sometime during November they’ll launch, but we’ll have to wait until we’re closer to the date to find this out.

Will there be RTX 4090 stock on release?

We think that following on from stabilisation of the tech manufacturing market, we’re going to be seeing better stock levels this year than we have in previous years.

We think that there will be ample stock, but this doesn’t mean that you should rest when trying to grab yourself a new RTX 4090 GPU. If you’re serious about it, you’ll want to be online at 2PM BST ready to grab your new card.
