With new glimpses at HBO‘s live-action videogame adaptation, The Last of Us, coming almost daily, teasing the debut of the series. Fans have naturally been wondering when is The Last of Us released?

With the series promising an all star-cast of familiar faces, with The Mandalorian‘s Pedro Pascal playing Joel. While Game of Thrones‘ breakout star, Bella Ramsey, stars as Ellie.

HBO have confirmed that the series will debut in the United States on Sunday 15th January 2023. With the series debuting worldwide on simulcast in countries with access to satellite TV provider, Sky, through Sky’s Sky Atlantic channel.

With catch-up viewings available after the broadcast on HBO Max in the US and on Sky Stream and NowTV in countries with access to Sky’s services.
