Kotaku reports that Midway’s Wheelman, the open city driving/action title starring Vin Diesel, has changed hands and will now be published by Ubisoft.
According to retail sources, orders for the title have been put on hold and it’s expected the game will now be delayed and reappear as a Ubisoft title. Kotaku also raises the possibility of the game re-emerging under the Driver brand.
When contacted by VideoGamer.com both Midway and Ubisoft were unable to comment on rumour and speculation.
Last month Midway announced a March 20 release date on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
