Devolver Digital has announced that action RPG Weird West will arrive on Xbox, PlayStation and PC on January 11.

The Western themed adventure comes from WolfEye Studios. They’re a team headed up by the former founder of Arkane Studios, Raphael Colantonio. He’s also narrating a series of videos released in the run up to launch, the first of which you can see below.

Weird West will take on a sort of anthology format, telling five different stories in the game’s setting. Each main character of the stories are different,  but their journeys will cross over the course of the game. We’re promised brutal choices and consequences in an immersive world.

There’ll be plenty of characters to interact with, locations to explore and quests to take on. It’ll be quite substantial too, with around 40 hours of gameplay promised across the five stories. The game was first announced back in 2019 during that year’s The Game Awards.

You can check out the first episode of the Road to Weird West video series down below. Weird West itself will arrive on January 11 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Pre-orders on Steam will also get a free horse named Calamity that doubles your inventory size.
