Ubisoft has revealed a roadmap for when players of London hackfest Watch Dogs: Legion can expect its story expansion and other additional downloadable content following the release of the recently-launched online mode‘s first Tactical Operation last night.

The first Tactical Operation then is called ‘Leader of the Pack’ and challenges you to team up with friends online to bring down a deadly initiative across five missions. In late April, more new co-op missions are set to be added and Season Pass holders will get their first bit of post-launch exclusive content in the form of new playable hero Mina Sidhu.

Late May will see the second Tactical Op as well as PVP Invasion and PVP Extraction modes added to online for all players, then in Late June the game’s first story expansion entilted Watch Dogs: Legion – Bloodline launches alongside new playable heroes Aiden Pearce from the original game and Wrench from Watch Dogs 2.

Finally, August will bring with it a huge crossover event with Assassin’s Creed which everyone will get to play, while Season Pass owners get a new playable hero in assassin Darcy alongside some new missions. You can check out the full roadmap for yourself in the tweet embedded at the bottom of this news post.

To celebrate this news, Ubisoft has also announced a free weekend trial this weekend, meaning anyone who’s not picked up the game already will get to download the game for free between the March 25 and March 29 and get full access to half of London’s boroughs, as well as the single player storyline up until the Skye Larsen mission. You can find details of that free weekend in the trailer down below.

Watch Dogs: Legion is available now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Google Stadia and PC.
