Call of Duty fans have an exciting remainder of 2024 ahead of them. Of course, the biggest attraction of the year coming soon is the imminent release of Black Ops 6. This is the next installment in the CoD franchise, and it looks absolutely fantastic. But, before then, we are celebrating Halloween early, and Activision has announced some brilliant skins for The Haunting 2024 event in Warzone.
The Black Ops 6 beta only just recently ended, and it was a great early look at the new multiplayer experience on the way. Fortunately, we don’t have too much longer to wait for BO6 to fully come out. Its release date is October 25th, and it will be the first new Call of Duty title to launch day one on Xbox Game Pass.
Seeing as Black Ops 6 comes out late-October, it makes sense Activision are celebrating Halloween early in Warzone. The Haunting 2024 event is set start next week, and we’re more excited than ever thanks to the arrival of one particular horror icon of the past decade.
The Haunting 2024 brings Art The Clown to Warzone
Below are the following horror skins coming to Warzone in Season 6 for The Haunting 2024:
- Michael Myers (at launch)
- Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead
- Art The Clown from Terrifier
- Trick ‘r Treat Halloween Mask Pack
- Sam from Trick ‘r Treat
- Valeria and Makarov Smile 2 skins
Michael Myers will be a skin to unlock as part of the Season 6 Battle Pass. All of the others mentioned above will be part of Operator Bundles you will need to purchase. Although no price has been announced, it’s presumed each Operator Bundle will cost 2,400 CP as per usual.
All of the above licensed crossovers are fantastic. Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead is a great addition, especially with Season 6 adding Purgatory and Zombie Royale LTMs.
Smile 2 is an anticipated sequel coming out in October, and you should definitely see the first movie if you haven’t already as it’s really good. Trick ‘r Treat is a cult classic for Halloween, and all of the Halloween masks look great celebrating icons such as Dracula and the Wolfman.
However, it’s Art The Clown that has us most giddy. He’s arguably the scariest horror monster of the past decade since Terrifier came out in 2018. It’s a clown getup even scarier than Stephen King’s most horrific creation, Pennywise, and it’s good to see Terrifier get some mainstream attention as it started out as a niche gore flick passion project with very little budget.
