Having the ability to see your intended target in Warzone is key to becoming the last player standing. Whether it’s casual or competitive matches, a clear view of the opposition makes all the difference. Throughout various chapters of the battle royale, there have been several scenarios where players loading into the action have struggled to spot the enemy.

With Season 1 Reloaded introducing a wealth of new content to Warzone, eagle-eyed players have already found a broken skin that has caused the notorious invisibility glitch to rear its head again. Instead of making their entire body disappear, only one body part continues to show much to the annoyance of fans.

Warzone pay-to-win invisibility skin is back

The Repairman Operator skin for Weaver is available to purchase from the in-game store for 2,400 CoD Points along with plenty of other cosmetic items players can also equip. The skin itself makes every single body part apart from the head disappear, giving those who wear it a huge advantage.

It’s not just an invisibility cloak the skin provides. Alongside disappearing body parts, equipping the skin also breaks the ironsights of weapons players are using. Instead of the ironsights remaining in the centre, the misalignment results in shots flying to the left.

While some players think it’s an accidental bug that’s slipped through the net, others believe that invisibility is a crafty trick by Activision to get them to buy the skin to gain an unfair upper hand. “You can’t tell me they don’t do this intentionally so everyone will buy it, and then in 2-3 days they’ll fix the issue,” claims one disgruntled player.

This isn’t the first time skins have caused players to turn invisible. The glitch first appeared during the Pacific era of Warzone where those who equipped the Tier 100 skin from the Season 1 battle pass had the ability to seamlessly blend in with their surroundings.

Another problem for Warzone

Since Black Ops 6 integrated into Warzone, the battle royale has experienced a wealth of issues that have put it on the back foot. The Modern Warfare 3 cycle managed to address several problems in addition to adding plenty of innovations that were reverted following the launch of Treyarch’s game, resulting in a wealth of backlash from unhappy players.

Raven Software often acknowledges the feedback of players but has yet to solve the case of the invisible skin ruining matches once again. If you’re looking for the upper hand, perhaps you might consider equipping the Repairman skin to improve your chances of entering the winner’s circle.
