Valorant is set to show off new Agent 28 for the first time very soon. So far, after changes to the episodic format for the 2025 roadmap, the only new character we have received this year is Tejo. While Tejo is great, he will soon be accompanied by the arrival of a new female Duelist. Riot Games has confirmed the reveal date for Valorant Agent 28, meanwhile, pros have teased “absolutely broken” abilities better than “Jett, Yoru, and Reyna combined”.
New Valorant Agent 28 reveal date
The reveal date for new Valorant Agent 28 is March 2nd. This has been confirmed by Riot Games’ advertising for the Masters Bangkok Grand Finals.
Per Riot Games, fans are encouraged to “Tune in to Masters Bangkok Grand Finals to see the reveal of Valorant’s next agent, followed by a showmatch to show off the gameplay of this dazzling new addition to the roster”. The Finals broadcast “starts March 2 at 5 PM Local Time (2 AM PST)”.
While we don’t know what the new Agent looks like, we at least know they are another female. In a voice line, Tejo says, “I have someone in mind… Lucky for you she’s been working with me for a long time – I’ll make the introduction”.
Agent 28 abilities
The new Valorant Agent 28 is a Duelist, and her abilities will be revealed at the Masters Bangkok Grand Finals. Before Riot Games unmask their newest playable character, pros have reacted to her and teased some exciting abilities.
In a video, pros have reacted to the new Duelist. During the react, pros teased abilities that are “absolutely broken,” while claiming she has an “aggressive playstyle”. They also teased she’s “fast paced” and that she’s “going to be really annoying to play against”.
The pros also wished “good luck to every Sentinel,” and said that the “playstyle is fully disruptive”. They also said that this agent “will be a b*****” on every map. One of the pros was also translated as saying she’s “like Jett, Yoru, and Reyna combined,” while also translated as saying, “No one will pick Jett when this agent drops”.
