PlayStation racing franchise V-Rally is making a comeback after 15 years in the shape of the Bigben Interactive and Kylotonn Racing Games collaboration, V-Rally 4. Yes, it really been that long.
V-Rally 4 sees the critically acclaimed off-road series returning to the fold with over 50 different flavours of vehicles, with players able to fully customise their ride, which includes the legendary Porsche 911 Safari, Ford Mustang, and Ford Fiesta RS RX.
The muddy off-road romp will throw rally enthusiasts into a number of extreme track conditions while taking in the sights across Africa, Japan, and Sequoia Park, and you’ll also have the opportunity to master your drifting skills across hazardous courses and hop into an all-terrain Buggy to tackle some ‘particularly rugged tracks.’
‘It’s a real privilege for me to once again work on the V-Rally series,” commented Kylotonn Game Director, Alain Jarniou. ‘It’s an extraordinary title that I have a very special connection to. I had a chance to join the team that created V-Rally to develop V-Rally 3 on the PlayStation 2 as a programmer. I’m very proud to be working on the franchise again 15 years later.’
V-Rally 4 is scheduled for release on PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Switch in September 2018.
