US PSP owners have been made to wait for the web browser equipped version 2.0 software update, with a release now said to “be available during the week of August 15th.” Although the Japanese update, which is thought to be the same as the imminent US update, has been available for several weeks, Sony has recommended that US PSP owners wait for the official US release so not to void the handheld’s warranty.
