Joe Carnahan’s script for the Uncharted movie from Sony Pictures is complete, but the real work to actually get the movie made now begins.

“Done and Dusted,” wrote Carnahan on Instagram alongside a photo of the script.

“Now the REAL work begins,” he added. “If there’s a more monstrously cool action script in Hollywood right now, I wanna read it, ‘cuz this thing is a BEAST.”

The Uncharted movie has been in development since 2009, but has seen directors Seth Gordon, David O. Russell and Neil Burger drop out. All parties will be hoping currently attached director Shawn Levy can move ahead with Carnahan’s script.
