Football fever continues this week with the top three titles all playing a beautiful game. Pro Evolution Soccer 5 keeps the top spot, but sales are down 49% despite the release of the PC version of the game. Football Manager 2006 saw a 52% drop in sales and this proved enough to relegate it to third, with FIFA 06 moving up to second.

New entries to the top 20 this week come from Star Wars: Battlefront II (No.6) and Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland (No.9). Outside the twenty comes Buzz! The Music Quiz (No.21), X3: Reunion (No.23), City of Villains (No.29), and The Suffering: Ties that Bind (No.31).

Rockstar’s The Warriors put in a strong performance this week with a rise in sales of 58%, but this wasn’t enough to move it up from fourth place. This week’s big movers are L.A. Rush moving up six places to No.11 and SSX on Tour also up six places to No.14. Lat week’s FPS heavy hitters F.E.A.R. and Quake 4 slipped out of the top ten this week with F.E.A.R. dropping all the way to No.18 and Quake 4 managing one place higher at No.17.

Next week, like those that came before it, sees another slew of titles that look set to shake up the chart. Resident Evil 4 for PS2 is the week’s biggest release, but expect some competition from the likes of Jak X, Civilization IV, Call Of Duty 2, Shrek SuperSlam, and let’s not forget Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories on the PSP, should it actually make it to retail this week.
