Namco Bandai’s Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, the PS3-only JRPG from Level 5 and Studio Ghibli, has claimed the All Formats All Prices UK video game chart No.1.
32 per cent of sales went to the limited Wizard’s Edition, with the regular version accounting for the rest.
EA holds at No.2 with FIFA 13, followed by Black Ops 2, Far Cry 3 and Hitman HD new at No.5.
Capcom’s DmC Devil May Cry also slips out of the Top 10 after only three weeks, missing out on tenth place by fewer than fifty copies.

Well done to Ni No Kuni for taking the No.1 spot, but it’s difficult to judge how much of a success the game truly is. We’ve already seen DmC claim the No.1 spot by shifting around a third of the total managed by DMC4. Namco Bandai says stock has been extremely limited, with more stock arriving this week, so it will be interesting to see if sales fall off dramatically during week 2.
Dead Space 3 will almost certainly claim the No.1 spot next week, with Scribblenauts Unlimited for 3DS and Wii U also with a chance of taking a Top 10 place.
