GfK ChartTrack reports that Ubisoft’s Just Dance has reclaimed the UK video game chart No.1 spot, replacing Square Enix’s Just Cause 2.

The evergreen dancing title saw a 56 per cent sales increase week on week to claim its third week at the top – previously top in weeks two and three of the year.

Sales of Just Cause 2 are down 21 per cent and it slips to No.2, followed by Battlefield: Bad Company 2 at No.3, Modern Warfare 2 at No.4 (sales up 52 per cent) and Pokemon SoulSilver at No.5. Wii Sports Resort slips three places to No.6, Pokemon HeartGold is down to No.7 and FIFA 10 climbs four places to No.8.

The biggest new release of the week was PQube/Zen’s Blazblue: Calamity Trigger, although the fighting game charted just outside the Top 40 – No.21 on Xbox 360 and No.19 on PS3.

With nothing of any significance hitting stores this week, expect the current crop to battle over the top spots.
