Speaking during a recent financial earnings call, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot revealed that the French publisher is preparing a host of games that will support both Microsoft’s Project Natal and Sony’s Motion Controller.
Guillemot said that Ubisoft expects to release 10 Natal titles “during the first six months of the launch,” plus “four to five games” for Sony’s Motion Controller.
“That’s the picture at the moment,” said Guillemot. “It can change in the next 12 months.”
Guillemot added that these motion control games don’t include titles that simply support new motion functionality, suggesting a series of motion-only games are on the way. The games will consist of approximately “70 per cent new property” said Guillemot.
