DICE has announced that it is giving away another batch of free Battlefield DLC, namely Turning Tides and Second Assault.

The freebies are part of the developer's Road to Battlefield V campaign, which as previously reported is also offering a bunch of cosmetic items by playing Battlefield 1.

As for the DLC, Turning Tides is one of Battlefield 1's major expansions, and focuses on Britain's assault on the Gallipoli peninsula in 1915. Here, you'll duke it out on four new maps — Cape Helles, Achi Baba, Heligoland Bight, and Zeebrugge, as well as getting your paws on a bunch of new weapons and vehicles.

Battlefield 4's Second Assault meanwhile adds five new weapons, a dune buggy, Capture the Flag, plus a bunch of Frostbite 3-powered revamps of various Battlefield 3 maps. In fact, DICE describes the expansion as 'a love letter to the classic maps of Battlefield 3.'

Anyway, if you're in the market for some free DLC — and let's face it, who isn't? — you can grab Turning Tides and Second Assault without spending a penny from now until July 17.

Battlefield 1 was released on PS4, PC, and Xbox One in October 2016, and served as a brilliant return to form for the venerable first-person shooter franchise. Its predecessor, Battlefield 4, wasn't half bad either.

Battlefield V is scheduled for release on October 19.
