Michael Grzesiek, better known as Shroud, has left Twitch to move to Mixer, Microsoft's live-streaming platform.
Grzesiek – who primarily played Counter-Strike: Global Offensive – was one of the biggest streamers on Twitch before his departure, with over seven million followers.
He made the announcement of his move to the rival platform via Twitter, saying, 'Same Shroud. New home.' It was accompanied by a video of Grzesiek walking down a gloomy blue corridor, behold:

Shroud's Mixer channel currently has 338,885 followers, a figure that will doubtless continue to climb.
It's an intriguing move for Microsoft, who, back in August, coaxed Tyler 'Ninja' Blevins over to the platform. Blevins was one of the biggest Fortnite Twitch streamers in the world when he announced that he would be entering into an exclusive partnership with Mixer.
