A series near and dear to many, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, rose to prominence and fell from grace, just like the popularity of the sport it was emulating. Now, (as we’ve learned via Kotaku) someone is trying to raise some funds in order make a documentary on it.
Pretending I’m a Superman looks to detail the entire back catalogue of Tony Hawk games that appeared on various different platforms. Filmaker Ralph D’Amato says that 20% of the documentary has been shot, but they’ve turned to Indiegogo to get over the finish line.
If all goes to plan for the project, the movie will have interviews with all the primary players including those who were at Neversoft at the time, as well as the Birdman himself.
