According to a recent post in the Marvel Rivals subreddit, players are hailing Scarlet Witch as the ultimate counter to dive heroes across matches. The user named saint-sonder has explained their theory of calling her a 100% counter to dive characters as they wrote, “Scarlet Witch is kinda underrated. She can 1v1 just about any hero if you can time their cooldowns. I’ve consistently handled: Magik, Spider-Man, Black Panther, and even Venom if my teammates are aware enough to stop him from taking off anytime his health is low. Too many players struggling for such an easy counter.”

Another user wrote, “Part of what makes her good, is that divers have an internal timer on how long they can dive before they realize they gotta get out. Scarlet Witch accelerates that timer by applying literally constant dps. Any diver resting on their laurels may be slow to realize they’re being sucked off. Boom. Ded”

This refers to the fact that Scarlet Witch uses her chaos magic to peel off health from these dive characters from a distance as they’re focusing on tanks or other DPS on the battlefield. She can disappear and move across positions to throw her Chthonian Burst, which can deal massive damage from long range while her Dark Seal can be detonated to stun enemies within its range.

But the real star is her primary attack Chaos Control which deals damage based on a percentage of their Max Health and restores her Chaos Energy. Sure her ultimate has been countered by almost everyone due to its slow activation rate but her primary kit is highly underrated.
