Fans will get their first look at the "real" Final Fantasy 15 at the game's release date announcement in March, the game's director Hajime Tabata has told Famitsu magazine.

"This year is the year we'll release Final Fantasy XV," he said. "Currently, we've decided on all of its specifications and the beta version is under production so we can shift into the debug phase.

"We'll show the real XV during the release date announcement this March."

Before then you can expect morsels of info in the Active Time Report scheduled for sometime this month.

Final Fantasy 15 is coming to both PS4 and Xbox One.
