When a new game comes out, there are always plenty of secrets and hidden things to uncover. One such hidden feature has been discovered involving the TV screen when you log into the game and select your server in Zenless Zone Zero. No, we’re not talking about the adverts for the fictional films in Random Play, but something much more simple.

As pointed out by this user on the game’s official subreddit, they were completely oblivious to this hidden detail, saying “I didn’t know this feature existed, just discovered it today”. The post explains that you can actually change the channel on the TV that is seemingly playing adverts at random when logging into the game. While you will see Bangboos and other things pop on the screen, you can use your mouse to click on the buttons to flick between different channels. We tested this out on the PS5 version, and you can do it by pressing L2 and R2 to flick the channel.

While this doesn’t exactly achieve anything, it is funny to see that people were completely oblivious to the feature. “Right now”, says one person on Reddit, referring to when they found out about this. Others claim to have discovered it during the closed beta testing phase or on “Day 1, since it took me a long time to install it in my HDD.” The comment goes on to say: “I just clicked on the TV buttons since I was bored. I was quite surprised by it changing the channel”.

Some people took this moment to call out that the game can take a long time to launch and so people discovered it by simply clicking around while they waited for it to download assets and start. “When my game loads like 3 – 5 minutes everytime I wanna play, but still cool detail”, says one person.

It is unclear just how many channels there are, but someone commented on the post claiming to have spent a long time trying to find the “Starlight Knights” channel on the TV. While you only get a short glimpse at each channel before it switches over, you can see things pop up on the screen like the claim about 180 free pulls you can get and adverts for various fake films present in the game.
