It's been a long wait, but YouTube support is now officially available for the Nintendo Switch.

YouTube is pretty standard these days as you could imagine, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One both featuring the app. Then again, they also have Netflix and iPlayer, which is something Ninty's hybrid console is still lacking.

So, while you won't be able to catch up on EastEnders on Switch just yet, you can at least use YouTube to, well, watch whatever the hell people watch on YouTube these days.

For me, it's usually old X Factor clips, Phil Mitchell punching compilations, and Genesis shows. I highly recommend it.

Anyway, the YouTube app is only just over 93MB in size, and supports 1080p and 60fps, so you can enjoy a quality performance.
