The First Descendant leak reveals new skins coming soon for Valby, Hailey, Freyna and more

The First Descendant is an excellent game and one of the best aspects is undoubtedly its character designs and accompanying skins. There has been a lot of great cosmetics so far for each character, and even more are on the way, hopefully for Halloween. While Nexon hasn’t teased anything yet, a leak has possibly revealed new skins coming to The First Descendant soon for Valby, Hailey, Freyna, and more.

We should be getting an update for TFD this week, and a couple of changes and fixes have already been revealed for the next hotfix. As for the next major update, the most exciting addition is confirmed to be Ultimate Freyna. Nexon has said she will “not be as easy” to farm as Ultimate Valby, and the TFD community have all shared the same complaint about Ultimate Freyna before she has even set foot in the game.

While Ultimates are always exciting, another aspect the community eagerly anticipates is new skins. Nexon will always be working on bringing new outfits to the The First Descendant, and a leak has revealed some unannounced attires that appear to be on the way.

A datamine of The First Descendant has been shared on dcinside. It’s full of leaks and spoilers that are supposedly coming with the update set for October 10th.

It’s important to stress right away that the datamine is Korean, so there might be some inaccuracies in spelling and context with the Google translation. With that acknowledged, the datamine shows some new skins and simply names others that are reportedly coming to TFD.

Below are the leaked skins said to be coming to The First Descendant on October 10th:

• “Fluorescent Frog” Valby
• “Fire Extinguisher” lantern ornament (back attachment)

Alongside the above, below is a list of skins that were in the script but are now deleted. They still exist in the game files so there’s still the possibility they could come with the October 10th update, but Nexon could also be reworking them for Season 2 or an even later date. There’s also the possibility they may never see the light of day.

• “Vulgus slayer” Freyna
• “Vampire” Gley
• “The Last Bastion” Ajax
• “Incineration expert” Blair
• “White Hawk” Enzo
• “Black Thorn” Hailey

In addition to all of the above, the datamined portfolio has shared “Skins that are likely to appear”. These include an Ultimate Viessa that was part of the beta, as well as a new skin for Kyle. If we do get Ultimate Viessa, it could be the new Ult set for Season 2 in December as outlined in the roadmap.
