Update: The release time for Ines Raya in The First Descendant has been delayed to 10AM PT/1PM ET/6PM GMT. As compensation for the maintenance extension, Nexon is gifting players free rewards.

Season 2 of The First Descendant has already introduced newcomer Keelan, but, in a pleasant surprise, Nexon’s second chapter is introducing two new characters rather than just one. The release date and time countdown for when Ines Raya will come out in The First Descendant is nearly over, and here you will find a guide to her skills, Nexon’s new skins, and more as part of update 1.2.4.

The First Descendant Ines Raya release date

The release date for Ines Raya in The First Descendant is January 16^th. This was confirmed during the Season 2 second half livestream preview.

Ines Raya is the third new character getting added to TFD, following in the footsteps of Hailey and Keelan. Ines will be succeeded by someone new sometime in March for Season 3, and the new Season 3 character promises to be hot according to the first official details from Nexon.

When does Ines Raya come out in The First Descendant?

The release time for when Ines Raya will come out in The First Descendant is 4AM PT/7AM ET/12PM GMT on January 16^th. This comes courtesy of Nexon’s maintenance schedule for update 1.2.4.

Per the developer, maintenance is scheduled to start at 9PM PT on January 15^th, as well as 12AM ET/4AM GMT on January 16^th. Maintenance will finish at the release times listed above, but, of course, delays can occur.

While maintenance is happening, TFD will unavailable to play.

The official skills for Ines Raya are as follows: 

• Plasma Oscilliation (Passive):
  • Deals greater damage to enemies inflicted with Conductor.
• Chain Lightning:
  • Strikes enemies with a chain of lightning.
• Lightning Conductor:
  • Inflicts an electric shock through current coils on enemies within range.
• Discharge:
  • Ines consumes plasma and gathers the converted electrical current in her first, releasing it powerfully in front of her.
• Snare Hunter:
  • Throws a plasma acceleration coil forward.

New TFD skins

Alongside Nexon’s newest character, the developer is releasing a slew of new skins for players to collect. Some of these new skins are in celebration of Lunar New Year, and they look incredibly dashing.

Another one of the new skins is for Ines Raya herself. While the default outfit covers the new playable character from head-to-toe in skintight armor, the new skin is certainly a lot more revealing around the chest and comes with much a longer hairstyle.

• Void Erosion Purge:
  • 20 waves of enemies, must defeat enemies before time-limit ends each wave
  • Solo or party only, matchmaking planned for March
• Weapon Core Unlocking
  • Unlockable after MR18
  • More core effects planned for February 6th
• Void Abyss – Defiler boss:
  • Toxic attacks, high-toxic resistance
  • Get vouchers upon beating boss, useable for Infernal Walker or Defiler rewards

• New Launcher Range Module
