It’s a big day for fans of The Finals. Embark has just released the update 5.8.0 patch notes, and they include a new Valentine’s event along with a host of weapon buffs. It’s quite possibly Season 5’s biggest update yet, but there’s now even more from Embark. The Finals developer has just announced some new free rewards, and players can get them right now.
How to get The Finals Valentine’s free rewards
On Discord, Embark has announced some new free rewards available for The Finals players to get through Twitch Drops. Players can get the rewards by watching Twitch streamers with Drops enabled, and below are the prizes on offer with the required amount of watching time:
- Heartfelt Tribute Gun-Charm: 60 Minutes
- Player 1 T-Shirt: 90 Minutes
- Player 2 T-Shirt: 120 Minutes
Before watching streams to get the above gifts, make sure your Twitch account is linked to your Embark profile. All you need to do is log into your Embark ID online, proceed to Connected Accounts, and link your Twitch. Your PlayStation, Xbox, or Steam profile should already be linked, too.
Check out Embark’s Twitch FAQ page for more details about claiming Twitch Drops and getting them in-game if you encounter any difficulties. There’s no mention of when the free rewards will expire, so make sure to get them as soon as possible.
