The Finals Season 4 has been a lot of fun so far and Embark released a new update just yesterday. This update provided some weapon buffs and nerfs, and it has also now brought about the arrival of the Ranked rewards from Season 3. The Finals Season 3 Ranked rewards are now available to grab, and Embark has explained why they took longer than usual to come out.

Make sure to check out the update 4.2.0 patch notes to see the latest weapon buffs and nerfs from Embark including the CL-40. As for the future, Embark has a Halloween event planned for this month, and the developer has shared that one day they want to implement clans and Team Deathmatch.

We cannot wait for the Halloween event to start, but, right now, all players can finally claim their Ranked rewards from Season 3.

The Finals Season 3 Ranked rewards are now out

In the 4.2.0 patch notes, Embark said that The Finals Season 3 Ranked rewards will be coming out “during update 4.2”. Well, the good news is that they have just been released as shared by Oscar on the game’s Discord.

Below is the developer’s message explaining why it took longer than usual for the rewards to arrive:

“It’s finally time to hand out the long-awaited ranked rewards from Season 3! The reason it’s taken a bit of time is that we’ve performed a final sweep of our leaderboards to ensure that all players receive the reward they earned, fair and square. We also took some additional time to properly test the reward-flow multiple times, to ensure that everything works like it should.

The ranked experience during Season 3 wasn’t perfect, and we’ve honed in on several methods that we know impacted the integrity of the leaderboard. We went through all matches and identified the games where players were affected by cheaters. Players who unfairly lost RS have been compensated and players who unfairly gained RS have been corrected.

To clarify; finding yourself on a lower position now than before does not necessarily mean that you were corrected, rather, other people might have been compensated to a degree which put them above you on the leaderboard. Alongside the rewards being handed out, we’re also publishing the final leaderboard for Season 3, so you can check out the outcome of our changes: https://id.embark.games/leaderboards/s3

Running a live shooter is a constant learning journey, and we’re adamant to continue to improve the ranked experience, and ensure it’s both more fair and more fun in the future. Thanks so much to all of you who helped report cheaters, don’t stop! Thank you all so much for being patient with us while we worked through this!”
