Bandai Namco has announced a crossover for two of its 2021 RPGs as both Tales of Arise and Scarlet Nexus get some free crossover DLC.

Tales of Arise players will be able to claim Myoho Murasama Replica, which is a new weapon for Alphen based on Scarlet Nexus. They’ll also get an additional attachment and new battle background music based on that game. On the other side of the jump, Scarlet Nexus players will get a new Blazing Sword for Yurito. They’ll also be able to claim a Broken Iron Mask and Owlet Doll attachment, and some Tales of Arise themed music.

The crossover also coincides with a new 1.08 update for Scarlet Nexus. This update brings a brand new difficulty level in the form of ‘Very Easy’ mode. This will let players concentrate on the game’s story, and make combat encounters much less tricky to deal with. Publisher Bandai Namco will also be releasing a story demo soon for those yet to try the game for themselves.

You can check out a demo for the Tales of Arise and Scarlet Nexus crossover content, as well as the new Scarlet Nexus update down below. Both games are out now, and available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
