Tecmo Koei is teaming up with The Big Chill festival and FILM4’s upcoming mockumentary I Spit On Your Rave (charting a behind-the-scenes look at the first post-apocalypse zombie music festival!) to break the world record for gathering as many zombies together in a single place at one time.

The zombie gathering will be hosted by Noel Fielding, with the undead meet kicking off at 5pm on Thursday, August 6 at the Big Chill Festival. In order to take part wannabe zombies have to be a Big Chill Festival ticket holder and look like one of the undead.

For those unable to create their own zombie style, Zombification Stations sponsored by Tecmo Koei’s Undead Knights will be available at the arena entrances where you can be made up to look like the undead.

Undead Knights will be released exclusively on PSP early in 2010, and sees players control vast hordes of marauding zombies as they attempt to overthrow a medieval kingdom.
