Bossa Studios' claret-drenched Surgeon Simulator is heading to the Nintendo Switch in autumn this year.

The Switch version of the operate-'em-up hit won't just be a simple port either; it'll feature Joy-Con motion controls and even a two-player co-op mode, which is a perfect fit for Ninty's console.

Surgeon Simulator may sound a bit of a serious affair, but it's actually quite daft at times. While you will operate on humans obviously, the game will even present you with alien patients, and thanks to an anniversary expansion back in 2016, now-US President Donald Trump.

I'm not sure why anyone would want to go digging around inside Donald Trump, but there we go.

Still, it's typical of Bossa's love for barmy video games. Back in 2015, the studio made I Am Bread, which, funnily enough, lets you play as a slice of bread. So yeah, you should have a good idea of what you're getting yourself into.

Surgeon Simulator has sold over two million copies since its PC debut in 2013, and later arrived on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Android, and iOS the following year.
