Sega has announced Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania —featuring remastered versions of the first three Super Monkey Ball courses—will launch for consoles and PC this October.

First revealed during last night’s Nintendo Direct, the game will mark the 20th anniversary of the long-running series. It’ll include over 300 stages taken from Super Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball 2 and Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, all given a modern lick of paint.

There’s also set to be twelve minigames included in the package. These include fan favourites such as Monkey Racing, Monkey Soccer, Monkey Bowling and more. You can also expect 4-player co-op, online challenges and a selection of favourite returning and new playable characters.

The most recent game in the series was Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD which launched in October of 2019 and featured Sonic the Hedgehog as a playable character. Fansite Sonic Mania has been poking around the game’s official website, and has spotted Sonic and Tails may be coming to this one too.
