Steam’s Top 100 grossing titles of 2016 based on total revenues earned during the calendar year have been revealed by Valve.
The 100 games have been grouped into Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze categories, though the specific revenues required for each have not been revealed.
12 games made the Platinum group, which in no particular order are:
- Dark Souls 3
- Total War Warhammer
- DOTA 2
- No Man’s Sky
- The Division
- Civilization VI
- Fallout 4
- XCOM 2
- The Witcher 3
- Rocket League
- CS: GO
- GTA V
Of these 12 titles, Rocket League, GTA 5, The Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 all released in 2015, making their 2016 sales even more impressive.

Which of these games will also make the 2017 best-sellers list? No doubt Valve’s major titles will show up once again, and there’s no reason to expect Rocket League and GTA 5 to fall from grace.
