ORIGINAL STORY: Steam’s 2012 Winter Sale is due to go live later today, a Capcom employee has confirmed.

The holiday sale is a yearly tradition for Valve, which typically offers huge savings on a vast selection of titles available on the digital platform.

As well as confirming the start date, Capcom also revealed its list of titles due to be offered in the sale, including Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, Street Fighter X Tekken, Devil May Cry 3 & 4 and various Nyu Media titles.

A start time for the sale has yet to be confirmed, but Steam’s sales have tended to kick off at around 6pm GMT in previous years. Expect to see a similar start time tonight.
