What is the Jedi Survivor release date? The universe of Star Wars is about to get a little larger with the upcoming release of action adventure sequel Star Wars Jedi Survivor this week.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting a follow up to the 2019 hit Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order almost as soon as they wrapped up the credits of the first game, and now some four years later, we’ll be catching up with gaming’s favourite Jedi along with his trusty droid pal as they embark on the next chapter of their epic adventure to restore the Jedi Order.

The Star Wars Jedi games have you taking control of Cal Kestis, a survivor of the infamous Order 66 and – at least at start of the first game – reluctant Jedi. The first game saw Kestis come to terms with, and then embrace his Jedi destiny, but not without some twists and turns across a multitude of planets – forging some unlikely partnerships and learning a lot about his own connection to the Force along the way.

The game itself has been through a bit of an adventure with its development cycle too – originally set to launch earlier this year, until a brief delay was announced by the game’s official EA Star Wars account on Twitter back in January of this year.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor Release Date

Star Wars Jedi Survivor is currently set to release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC on April 28, 2023.

The game will be a current-gen exclusive, meaning alas it won’t be available on the PS4 or the Xbox One. However, it’s been clear to see why since the game’s reveal at The Game Awards last year, with this adventure promising to be bigger and more grandiose than ever before. Star Wars Jedi Survivor: First Look

Previously, the only thing we had seen of Jedi: Survivor is a recently released image. The image was released alongside the announcement we will get a first look of the game at The Game Awards

There isn’t much to learn from this image, but it does look like the main character Cal has opted for a new look, ditching the poncho he rocked throughout much of the first game. He has also got a few new extra scars on his face, assumingly from some of the scraps he has been in since we last saw him.
