Splatoon 2 has received a big ol’ patch on Nintendo Switch, adding new gear, hairstyles, amiibo functionality and an awful lot more.

Available to download now, Splatoon 2 players can check out the already mentioned bits and bobs, and increase their level. The cap has been increased from 50 to 99, and players can choose to reset their level once they reach this magical number if they so wish. A little star will appear next to their new number if they choose to start over, and that shows other players that they are on their second go-around.

Honestly, the amount of changes in here are ridiculous: the length of recovery time after you’ve been hit has been increased, a number of the guns have been re-balanced, and you can now choose the new Salmon Run stage of Salmonid Smokeyard while playing The Shoal.

If you want to jump in deep, you can have a look at all the bug fixes and whatnot by throwing your eyes over the full patch notes.
