Sony's already confirmed that it'll be offering 'deep dives' for the likes of The Last of Us: Part 2 and Spider-Man at E3, but it's now revealed there will be some pre-show shenanigans ahead of the main event.

By pre-show, we mean this week. Wednesday, to be precise, when the format holder will announce a new PlayStation 4 game featuring PSVR support.

This will be followed by a release date announcement on Thursday for a mystery Sony Worldwide Studios title. Hmm, Days Gone, anybody?

Next, Friday and Saturday will see the reveal of a new PS4 and PSVR game, respectively, while Sunday lifts the lid on an 'eagerly anticipated game' coming to PSVR. All reveals will take place at 4.00pm BST.

Sony will host its E3 showcase at 2.00am BST on June 12, and we'll be consuming a lot of caffeine to make sure we bring you all the latest news as it breaks.
