BioWare has pointed its Twitter followers to a rather amusing Dragon Age unboxing video, parodying Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition unboxing.

Not to be outdone, BioWare's Felicia Day unboxes the Dragon Age CE in what appears a legit video until the very end when she pulls out a Dragon Age sausage.

Joking aside the rest of the contents did appear legit, although the inclusion of the game on PC and Xbox 360 in one box is rather strange.

Interestingly, the first item revealed from within the CE is the item card for Mass Effect 2, unlocking in-game items including the Snow Guard Cruiser vehicle.

However, posting on the official BioWare forums, programmer Brenon Holmes stated that "nothing official has been released about cross promotion yet." Does this mean the Snow Cruiser is fake?

Mass Effect 2 is scheduled for release in early 2010 for Xbox 360 and PC. Dragon Age: Origins is set for release on October 23 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
