Sold Out has partnered with Rebellion to publish the physical release of Sniper Elite 4 on PS4 and Xbox One. The digital PS4, Xbox One and PC versions will be self-published by Rebellion. A physical PC version has not been announced.

The partnership follows a similar agreement with Rebellion's undead shooter Zombie Army Trilogy that, like Sniper Elite 4, was published physically by Sold Out and digitally by Rebellion.

Sniper Elite 4 will cost £49.99 both physically and digitally, although a release date has yet to be confirmed beyond its 2016 window.

"We're extremely excited to be working alongside Sold Out again after the huge success of Zombie Army Trilogy," said Rebellion CEO Jason Kingsley, "and this way we can produce the most successful Sniper Elite game to date, not only digitally, but also at retail."

"It is great to see that British software and development is not only alive and well, but through Rebellion's efforts, actually flourishing," added Sold Out CEO Garry Williams. "Sold Out is delighted to be the harbour master for Rebellion's boxed console journey."

The US physical release will be handled by U&I Distribution in partnership with Sold Out.

The announcement seems to confirm that 505 Games will not be returning to work with Rebellion on Sniper Elite 4. 505 published the physical release of Sniper Elite V2 back in 2012 and the physical version of Sniper Elite 3 in 2014. The digital versions were both handled by Rebellion.

Expect to hear more on Sniper Elite 4 very soon.
