The SNES version of F-Zero, the classic futuristic racing game, will be released for the Wii U Virtual Console tomorrow, Nintendo has announced.

The game’s release is part of the Family Computer 30th Anniversary Campaign and is therefore priced at only 30p.

Even better news is confirmation from Nintendo that the version on the European store will be the superior US-NTSC version which runs at 60Hz. Bravo Nintendo.

This week also sees the release of demos for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate on 3DS, and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for 3DS and Wii U.
