The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series is out today for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC through the Epic Games store, as announced by developer Skybound Games.

The collection wraps up the entirety of Clementine’s story, including all four Seasons, 400 Days, and The Walking Dead: Michonne in 23 heartrending episodes. It also contains ten hours of developer commentary from the developers, voice actors, and behind the scenes content. Moreover, The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series includes over 40 tracks from all past seasons, an art gallery, a 3D model viewer with voice lines, and new 3D front end that shows the original menus and their music.

Graphical and gameplay enhancements have been brought to the critically acclaimed series, with a ‘graphic black’ mode that visualises a comic book art style to the game. The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series is a poignant one, as Telltale Games shut down before it could complete Clem’s story. Skybound Games took over, and finished The Final Season as a bittersweet conclusion to Clementine’s legacy.

LCG Entertainment, a holding company comprised of game industry executives, has bought the key assets to Telltale Games and is operating under that name to revive its story series. It will recruit ‘key talent’ from the previous studio on a freelance basis as the company develops, and though it isn’t certain what the new company intends for new games, it means that similar heavy hitter narratives like Batman and The Wolf Among Us are back on sale.
