EA’s Full Circle studio has dropped some very early gameplay footage of their in-development Skate sequel onto the internet.

The footage itself came with the proviso that the team are still hard at work on the skating title. As such, this ‘Pre-Pre-Pre Alpha’ gameplay is a very rough cut with missing textures and all. But it’s shaping up well so far, as we get a glimpse of the game’s city of San Vansterdam, plenty of tricks and traversal and more.

In fact, the team say, they’re ready to let a few more people have a peek behind the curtain. Full Circle will be offering specific lucky players the chance to help shape the game as Skate Insiders. These lucky few will get to take part in closed playtests, where they’ll be able to give feedback to the developers on what they think so far.

There’s a couple of caveats of course. The FAQ reveals that potential insiders must be over 18, and players will be selected based on “varying factors”. In other words, it’ll depending what the team are looking for at that time. You won’t be allowed to share anything, however, presumably to avoid a repeat of April’s leaks. But if you’re interested, you can sign up here.

We last got an official update on Skate last summer, around this time. There’s still no ETA or platforms (apart from the reassurance it will be on PC) for Skate just yet, but hopefully it won’t be too long before we hear more. For now, check out the Pre-Pre-Pre Alpha gameplay from Skate for yourself down below.
