Good news, everyone! A new Silent Hill film will be arriving in cinemas on October 26.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that US distributor has just picked up the rights to Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, and plans to put out the film just after the release of Paranormal Activity 4. October 26 is the US release date, but given the obvious Halloween tie-in, there’s a good chance it’ll be out over here at roughly the same time.

Returning cast members include Sean “I Die in Almost Every Film” Bean, Deborah Kara Unger and Radha Mitchell. They’ll be joined by Adelaide Clemens, who popped up briefly in the Wolverine movie, and Kit Harington, who’s best-known for playing Jon Snow.

That’s Jon Snow from Game of Thrones, rather than Jon Snow from Channel 4 News.

The plot is based upon Silent Hill 3, and will see Clemens in the role of Heather Mason. It’s been directed by Michael J. Bassett, who helmed Solomon Kane and the quite-good-actually horror flick Wilderness.

Silent Hill: Revelation 3D may or may not also star Justin Bieber, in the role of an unusually diminutive Pyramid Head, and a hologram of Tupac Shakur.
