Big Deez Productions’ Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn will finally launch on PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Switch this spring, Saber Interactive and Wired Productions have announced. Just in case you aren’t up on your 90s ‘classics,’ the original Shaq Fu was a 2D brawler released during the 16-bit era and is widely accepted as one of the worst games ever made.

The sequel will see a worldwide digital and retail launch, and once again features former basketball legend Shaquille O’ Neal as the lead character, this time as he battles his way through a hellish Hollywood packed full of dastardly celebrity bosses and assorted goons to ‘settle the score of ’94.’

Apparently, we’ll be able to tap into Shaq’s alter egos such the gloriously 90s-sounding Big Daddy O and Big Diesel, plus wield a bunch of weapons including baseball bats, katanas, and shurikens.

‘We know diehard fans have been waiting eagerly to experience the hard-hitting action of this new take on Shaq Fu, and we’re excited to team up with Wired Productions to get the game physically into the hands of players this spring,’ commented Matt Karch, CEO of Saber Interactive.

Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn’s crowdfunding campaign launched in March 2014 and raised over $473,000 by the time it wrapped two months later.Â
