FromSoftware has staple-gunned a March 22, 2019 release date to hack-'n-slash ninja title Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

If that wasn't enough, the Dark Souls developer also unveiled a rather swanky Collector's Edition for the game, which includes a copy of Sekiro in a steelbook case, a 7" Shinobi statue, art book, map, digital soundtrack, and replica game coins.

Looks great, eh? Pity I've blown my budget on Resident Evil 2 and Assassin's Creed Odyssey's pricey special editions already…

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is due out on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One, and is directed by Dark Souls mastermind Hidetaki Miyazaki. Despite this, it's not quite the same as the deliciously gothic, brutal RPG series, although there are definitely similarities to be found.

FromSoftware previously confirmed that Sekiro is a dedicated single-player adventure, so don't expect any multiplayer shenanigans.
