Previously available online only, Sam & Max – The Devil’s Playhouse is getting a full retail release for PC this August.
A collector’s edition will also be made available, although details on what this will include have yet to be revealed.
The retail release will combine all five episodes from the third ‘season’ of games. In this series, Max is bestowed with psychic powers, which the crime fighting duo use to fend off intergalactic simians, eldritch gods and an arcane scholar – all of whom are after Max’s new powers.

If you’re a fan of Sam and Max, and have yet to play Devil’s Playhouse, now would seem like the logical time to do so.
The best part of it is – there’s no waiting around in between episodes! Finish one, and you can jump straight into the next. It’s a shame details on the collector’s edition weren’t revealed, but it’ll probably include an art book. And a fancy cardboard sleeve over the box.
