The official Twitter of Saints Row has teased a reveal of some kind to take place later this week.
A tweet made yesterday reads, “Something special in two days – do you know what it could be?”
A third game in THQ’s popular open-world franchise has been confirmed for release in autumn 2011, though details are being kept under lock and key. In addition to a PS3/Xbox 360 sequel, the publisher has also confirmed a Saints Row title for the Nintendo 3DS and Xbox LIVE Arcade.
THQ Core Games VP Danny Bilson has said the “existence [of Saints Row 3D] is part of the marketing plan to sell Saints Row 3”, which suggests the 3D game is the one we’ll hear about first.
