We’re now only a short time away from the Ryzen 9 7950X3D release date, so if you’re interested in upgrading your PC to have say, the best CPU for Modern Warfare 2, this should interest you.

Announced at CES 2023, the Ryzen 9 X3D CPUs are expected to blow the current CPUs out of the water. The Ryzen 9 7950X3D will launch on the same date as the Ryzen 9 7900X3D, though if you’re hoping to pick up the slightly cheaper 7800X3D, you’re going to have to wait a little while longer.

The Ryzen 7000-series launched late in 2022 to establish the latest generation of Zen 4 architecture, and the release was extremely successful. It’s hard to see how AMD could one-up themselves, though they look likely to do it with the X3D CPUs.

We’re expecting the Ryzen 9 7950X3D to rival even the best CPUs to pair with the RTX 4080, so if you’re playing upcoming games such as Wild Hearts and Hogwarts Legacy, both of which are highly process demanding games, you’re going to want one of the best CPUs for gaming to boot.

Let’s get straight into the Ryzen 9 7950X3D release date then:

The Ryzen 9 7950X3D release date has now been confirmed

It turns out that the Feb 14th release date was published on AMDs website as a mistake, which they then confirmed. The Ryzen 9 7950X3D will launch in February and will stand up to the power of the Intel 13th Gen CPUs.

We’re going to make sure to stay up to date with the release date of the Ryzen 9 7950X3D CPU, however we don’t anticipate much change really.
