The first gameplay footage of Rugby Challenge 3 has been released ahead of the game’s launch on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PS3 on April 22.

Developed by Australian studio Wicked Witch Software, the game promises to be the “first true Rugby Union game for next-gen consoles”, and features teams from England, New Zealand, South Africa and Australia, including the Springboks, the All Blacks, the Wallabies, and the Aviva Premiership.

A new Be A Pro mode also lets players join a team as a rookie and work their way up the rugby ladder over the course of 13 seasons, and potentially be selected for their national team.
